SUMMER ETHNIC VIBE

Tunic - Vintage (ethnic section)
Purse - Vintage
Necklace - Vintage
Shoes - Aldo

This top is exactly why I love vintage shopping so much.  It's a one of a kind peice that I likely wouldn't find at H&M or Forever 21.
I couldn't believe my luck when I came across it at my local vintage shop. It's so light and breezing, it'll be perfect to keep cool in the summer. I think it will work well as a bathing suit cover up for beach days as well. And I paid $4 for it! Cant beat that.

And a big thank you to my mom for having the patience to learn to use my camera and snapping these shots for me before the rain started up again.  Love you :)

GIRLY BOHO

Top - Old
Short - Vintage
Shoes - Faux birks
Watch - Nixon
Rings - random shops in Mexico

This weekend was my first weekend free of school work since January!  Truly free to do whatEVER I wanted, all weekend! We took full advantage by getting reacquainted with our bikes (we haven't touched them since we moved in January!) and headed out to kits beach with a few drinks in our backpack (it wasn't coffee in that Starbucks cup ;) ).  Once the sun set, we went to a favourite nearby restaurant for a bite to eat. Biking home in the warm weather really got me excited for the adventures to come this summer! Today (Sunday), I'll be spending the day catching up on cleaning the apartment, visiting the family and possibly some vintage shopping! A weekend well spent in my books.

XO, Andrea

P.S I joked with Ken that I should hashtag these pictures #bringingbacktheblog! Yay for the return of blog and summer fun! And to more drinks in boots! I love those things! ----->

RECENT INSTA-OUTFITS AND UPDATE

As many of you know, I have recently made a change to my career.  I embarked on an adventure of returning to school to complete my nursing speciality to work in the Operating Room.  The course has basically consumed my life for the last 6 months and almost all things fun were put on hold!

As of today, I'm happy to report - I have passed my final exams!! The relief is unbelievable!!! The never ending nerves and heart palpitation are finally subsiding.  I am so ready to enjoy the sun and patio drinks!
