WEDDING INSPIRATION

light, neutral, airy, beautiful wedding inspiration

Now that Ken and I are home in Vancouver for a few weeks, the reality of starting the wedding planning is getting real. We've decided to hire a wedding planner since we will be living abroad for half of the planning but still plan to be very involved in all the details. Well, as much as I can from across the pond! I've started putting a few visual boards together to try to narrow down the style we want, colour palettes, table settings and what not. But I'm finding it quite difficult! The wedding is still so far away, I'm afraid any decision I make now, might change down the road.

Having said that, here are a few bits of inspiration I've been leaning towards. Soft neutrals, twinkle lights, greenery, romantic flowers and messy hair. And of course, a really cool bar set up.

I'd love any wedding tips and tricks or wedding planner suggestions, please leave me a comment below! I love hearing from you!

  1. The first week or so after I got engaged were sooo stressful. I had to make so many decisions very quickly. We got engaged early September 2015, and knew we wanted a Summer 2016 wedding. With venues and vendors booking up quickly around here, I had no time to spare choosing venues, photographers and a dj. Since then I've been able to take my time on some of the other details like dress, flowers, tuxes, invitations, etc.

I'm using checklist on theknot.com as a guideline to keep me on top of all of the things I should be doing. I'm finding it very helpful and I recommend you check that out.
