BEAUTY FAVORITES

I thought it might be fun to do something different for a change so I put together a few products that I have been loving as of recently! Hope you enjoy!

NYX – FULL COVERAGE CONCEALER – #4 BEIGE

I can’t express how much I LOVE this concealer.  I have the worst blueish/purple under eye circle that require serious attention in the morning and this concealer helps me to feel human again.  It is just as it says, full coverage, which may be too heavy for some, but for me, it works wonders.  I got it in one of the medium tones because the lighter colours only highlight the fact that I have dark under eye circles.  So the medium tone helps to camouflage the imperfections.  For people that don’t have under eye circles/lines, the lighter shades would be nice for brightening.  I also love that it’s from the drugstore as I’m not the type of person to spend an arm and a leg on makeup.

CHINA GLAZE – PREY TELL

ESSIE TOP COAT – GOOD TO GO

Obsessed with this deep red for fall.  One coat does the trick! Check out THIS POST to see what it looks like on my nails.

Essie’s top coat creates a rock solid layer over your nail colour and gives amazing shine.

ESSENCE STAY WITH ME GLOSS

I first briefly spoke of these lip glosses HERE.  This bright pink is my favourite and is the one I am most often wearing in my outfit posts.  It’s not too sticky but sticky enough that it stays on your lips for a decent length of time.  They also smell really good.

FAT HAIR THICKENING CREME AND DOVE DRY SHAMPOO

I have a short post on this Fat Hair product HERE. But essentially, I have been using this product for years now and I find it to me a dramatic difference to my hair texture.  Naturally my hair has little to no texture which makes it very difficult to style (it wont even hold a bobby pin!) so this product gives my hair a thicker, more voluminous appearance and style to hold.

Doves dry shampoo also adds texture but also absorbs any oils on 2nd or 3rd day hair.  However it is quite light in colour and I would think that it would leave a fairly significant white cast in dark hair.  Luckily, my hair is quite light in colour so it doesn’t bother me.  This stuff goes on sale quite often so when it does, I pick up several cans.

MAYBELINE XXL PRO EXTENTIONS MASCARA

This mascara really does give a false lash effect.  I usually do two coats of the white and two coats of the black for the extra long, thick lash look (make sure to wait in between coats though so the product will get tacky and build able).  On days I don’t feel like taking the time I’ll just do one coat of each.

BATH AND BODY WORKS CANDLE – LEAVES

Ok, so obviously this isn’t beauty related but I have been loving this candle as of late.  I have been burning for 30 minutes or so each evening and I was shocked at how long the scent lingers in the apartment!  I also like that it’s not too sweet or feminine, the boyfriend even likes it! The only down side is that it gives me major Christmas fever.  It is so warm and cozy smelling! I can’t wait for the holidays!

What have you been loving lately?!

Beautiful pictures! I have been loving the Leaves candle too, I'm almost out of mine! I would love to try that thickening cream. I've been looking for a volumizing product and this might be just the thing I need! Thanks for sharing 🙂 x Ellie @ Ellalogy
