Well, I’ve done it again. The boyfriend and I have once again committed to a sugar free week. If you have been reading my blog for a while now, you might remember that we did this last year in hopes of decreasing our cravings before the holiday treats took over. Read that post here. You may also remember that we didn’t do very well and the Holiday treats were had. Nevertheless, we thought we’d give it another shot for the next week. I am always surprised how much better I feel when I cut the sugar (and when I say sugar I am talking cookies, chocolate, candy etc not so much the natural sugars in fruits). Within a few days I have more energy and I feel thinner even if I’m not. You would think if it makes me feel so much better that this would be a habit I would adopt for good. Reality is I love chocolate and candy and I am just one of those people that is going to have to learn to eat my treats in moderation.
