As I mentioned in my previous post, I skipped town the last few days and headed to my moms get-a-way property in US. This was the outfit I wore for the car ride down there and ended up staying in it all night because it was SO warm out. I had arrived fully prepared with my winter jacket, kodiak socks and long pants expecting warm days and chilly nights. It was a pleasant surprise to be completely comfortable in cutoffs and a t-shirt for our evening of s’mores by the campfire.
As for my hair – the night before, I had simply put my hair in french braids to add some texture, then added a few loose curls here and there to downplay some of the frizz. The next two days I ended up wearing it up in a messy top knot (stay tuned for beach day OOTD’s over the next week!). Heck, I was camping! I wasn’t about to fuss with washing, blowdrying, curling …that’s the fun in camping!
It was a perfect mini vacation. I’m already excited to head back down with a group of my friends at the end of the month! But for now, back to work…
