9 years in the making (not including our puppy love high school romance which was 11 years ago? – CRAZY!) and we are at last engaged! I must say, he totally shocked me. I actually thought he had something up his sleeve for when he returned home in the summer. I’m so glad I was wrong!
The big question happened at home, in his apartment, in London before we headed out to see Peter Pan at the open air theatre in Regents Park. Luckily we had perfect summer weather that night because he planned a lovely picnic with champagne in a grassy area before the show. It was simple, perfect and I couldn’t be happier.
I’m still in shock I have this ring on my finger! Not sure when that’ll sink in…
