I’ve mentioned here on the blog a few times that my family owns a little home away from home in the US that we often visit.  We call it “glamping” because it’s full equipment with everything you could possibly need. I mean, a full kitchen, a flush toilet, two T.V’s and an electric fireplace. It’s hardly camping, haha.Never the less, we love being down there.  Nothing beats the fresh air and sitting by a campfire all night with a glass of wine in hand.  I’m so sad I won’t get to visit again until December when I return from London for the holidays.

My lovely mom took these pictures for me on our walk over to our family friends site for dinner. I made sure to wear a loose fitting dress because I knew my uncle Pat was going all out with the food.  I gorged on BBQ chicken, salads, corn of the cob and loaded baked potatoes – SO good!

I kept my beloved feminine vibe known by adding the button up shirt to define the waist a little bit, but I also made use of it at night to cover my shoulders. The Nike shoes are perfect for glamping as well.  They feel like I’m walking on marshmallows.  I use them for both the gym as well as with everyday outfits, I love them that much.
