Shirt – Men’s Vintage – last seen HERE (Similar options HERE and HERE) Bikini – Triangl Shorts – Vintage Levis Hat – H&M Back in the summer, my mom and I headed down to our family getaway in the states not far from the Canadian boarder. We love escaping the city and hiding out in our home away from home whenever we can, even for just a few days. On this particular weekend, I happened to be off work, so I decided to join mom for a few nights. Although we do have access to all modern convinces at our cabin, one of our favourite things to do is to sit outside on the deck and just listen to the birds chirp and rustle through the bushes. Nothing like fresh air! I always return home feeling like I’ve been on vacation and am well rested for the week ahead! |

On the afternoon we took these pictures, mom and I took a drive to a near by lake to walk around and take in the view. I really wish I had taken a picture of the lake, the view across the other side of the lake is amazing!

Once we finished up at the lake, we headed to pool to catch a few more rays until dinner. Now that I’m in London, I really appreciate how special our family cabin is. Ken and I both can’t wait to get back there in the winter.
