Throwing it back to another snowy day in Whistler before the holidays (See DAY 1 HERE).  Our trip to Whistler was so quick, that it almost feels like we were never there. We were also fresh of our 9 hour flight the night before, so I think our 36 hours there felt particularly hazy. 

However, 36 hours was enough time for Ken to squeeze in two days on the mountain, for us to have a big party with Ken’s work friends and for me to have a shopping day with the girls. A very quick but successful trip with good people and good food.

Ken and I snapped these photos in about 2 minutes, just before he raced back up the hill for some more fun in the snow with the boys.  You can actually see him racing back to the house in his snow pants in the winter scene photo above, haha.

Once he returned from his final ride down the mountain, we dug the car out of the snow (we had nearly a foot of fresh snow over night, so it was quite the job) and headed back home along the sea to sky highway. It’s a magical drive at the this time of year.  Although I usually end up a little car sick by the end of it.
