Cream top – Zara

Can’t deny those post-Christmas sales. You would never catch me out shopping on boxing day, but I’ll definitely out moseying those sales the weeks after.  I thought I’d share a few things I picked up as well as a few other items I purchased in the past few weeks. So here we go…

At the top of the list, this cream top. I still haven’t figured out how I’m going to wear it because the V cut is SUPER deep. I don’t want to throw a tank under it because the ultra deep V is what drew me to it, however, it’s a little over the top. I threw a bralette under it to take this picture, but I think I’ll need to figure something else out. Any ideas?

black studded ankle boots sitting on a fur mat

outfit of the day wearing ASOS black ankle boots and faux fur stole from Zara

Boots – ASOS (on sale)

These boots stole my heart when I first spotted them on the ASOS site while at home in Canada. I had to resist the urge to buy them because I knew they would be shipped much quicker if I waited until I got back to the UK. I ordered them with next day delivery within an hour of walking in the door from our flight, and I’ve been delighted to have them on my feet all week 🙂

3 neutral coloured Chanel lipsticks sitting in a row on top of a Bazaar magazine

Lipstick – Chanel

Can’t forget these beauties. Two of them were my spurge items while at home in Canada.  The third came about while in the airport. I’m a sucker for those airport prices. I’ll be doing and entire post  talking about texture, application and wear. So be sure to check back soon for that 🙂

the cutest light pink fluffy pom pom toque from forever21

Pom Pom toque  – Forever21(worn here)

This was one of those things you pick up on the way to the cash register. A split second decision that I don’t regret. I’ve worn it a ton, so it was certainly worth the $10 I paid.

neutral black and white snake skin lace up flats from ASOS

Lace up flats – Asos

Another great ASOS find. Inexpensive, pack a punch and are built for comfort. For the price point, I was surprised with the quality and comfort of these little flats. They have a little cushion at the ball of the foot and the material is super soft. I think they’ll be a blister free break in!

pale pink essie nail polish in fiji

Nail polish – Essie in Fiji

Hand a hankering for a creamy pink polish and this one does the trick. It’s a perfect cloudy pale pink that looks great on any skin tone, but I think it will look particularly good in the summer with a tan.

floral print 70's dress from zara

70’s Dress – Zara

Last but not least – a 70’s flared dress. It’s hard to tell in this picture, but the sleeves and bottom of the dress are both flared. With the added high neck – it’s perfect for that 70’s tend that’s becoming more and more poplar. I can’t wait to wear it with my over the knee boots and an over sized coat this season.

Have you hit the sale or do you stay clear?  Leave a comment I love to hear from you!
