I have a really hard time resisting a red lip when I’m wearing any kind of stripes. And as my obsession with stripes grows stronger and stronger, I find myself sporting the red lip more often.  Most of the time I’m wearing #211 from the Loreal infallible line. It drys matte and stays put for ages – even through meals! It’s a beautiful true red that makes your teeth look pearly white!

I didn’t realise until I threw this cardigan on for extra warmth, how much I love this beige colour combined with the red lip and navy stripes. If we had been home, I think I would have grabbed  cool toned layer, but something about this flesh toned shade that works perfectly. What was initially meant for function (to keep me warm! It was a lot colder than it looked), then turned part of the outfit. I love when things come together like that.

This is where Ken and I spent most of our evenings. Where the pool met the water. Since we were there pretty early in the season, it wasn’t warm enough for us to swim in the pool. But we loved pulling up a few chairs next to the ocean, watching for dolphins with a cocktail before heading out to dinner each night.
