This is crazy! How are we only a few days away from Christmas! It’s weird, some years it feels like Christmas takes for ever to come around, but this year I feel like I’ve hardly had enough time to watch my favourite christmas movies 100 times. I think Ken would disagree – I’ driving him mental with the Santa Clause and Home Alone 2 on repeat. All. Day. Long.

We had another big snow fall here in the city a few days ago. Now that I live nice and close to work (a year ago I had about a 25 minute commute into the hospital) I’m actually really enjoying the snow. Not worrying about how I’ll get into work or how bad the traffic will be has been wonderful! Although I find myself waking up early each day, wondering if work is going to give me a ring as a last stitch effort to fill in for missing staff that couldn’t make it themselves.

As much as I love to dress up, I have found myself wearing this outfit (+/- leggings and a different comfy top) almost everyday. Especially on days I’m working because it’s SO comfy and there is so need to get all dolled up at 6am. Heck, I change into scrubs (which are basically pajamas) within 5 minutes of stumbling into the hospital anyways. So I figure I might as well be super comfy on my quick commute in, and be excited I have something cozy to get into after my shift. 

Nothing says comfy around Christmas like a good pair of kodiak socks and Ugg boots!

I know Uggs are one of those things that people either love or hate. Personally, I love them. The ones I’m wearing in this post are from their newer collection – so they have more of a wearable shape to them. But I still love the original Uggs (the ones that look like giant slippers – haha) as well.
