Taking a quick break from fashion posts for today to share a few “new to me” products I’ve picked up lately. Some I have thoughts on already, others I’m still trying out 🙂

My best friend and I are true girly girls at heart. We love lipgloss, dresses, curling our hair and watching trash T.V. So when she came to visit us in Paris, we couldn’t help making a quick pit stop to Sephora. Admittedly, we had a glass of wine to loosen up the wallets right before going in, so we were bound to walk out with something. I actually did quite well and only grabbed this pink Chanel lipgloss. Nope, didn’t need it but it’s so pretty and makes me happy 🙂 It’s a really beautiful almost clear gloss, very sticky (which I actually like sometimes) and luxurious.

I also picked up these purifying strips. They weren’t the best thing I’d ever spent my money on but I had fun using them. I actually used them all up fairly quick because they didn’t really do much for me, so I just raced through them. They were included in my recent Empties video HERE if you want to see that 🙂

I’ve been testing out these products from The Ordinary for quite some time now. I have a few thoughts on all the products I have, but I think I’ll do a full post on it down the road.
The La Roche-Posey sunscreen is a must have for the summer! It might not be QUITE as good as my Cliniderm sunscreen I love so much, but it’s certainly a close second and something I reach for often. It isn’t cheap, that’s for sure, but if you want something that works beautifully under makeup – you might want to give this stuff a go.
Ads work people. I saw an ad for this somewhere (Instagram or facebook) and I went straight to Amazon to purchase it. Without really reading any reviews either, haha. Thought I’d form my own options about it.
If you haven’t heard about these, it is a small instrument that creates tiny micro pulses. You roll it on your face and neck in an upward direction and it’s meant to stimulate you facial muscles, wake them up and in turn, make you look more alive, young and awake! When I opened it up Ken laughed at me. Am I going to be one of those ladies that buy strange things from QVC in my old age?! I might…
I haven’t really used it enough to give a full review, but I can do that if anyone is interested 🙂
I’m also curious to know more about the jade rollers – anyone use one of those? Any results?
The last thing I’ve added to my beauty drawer recently is The ordinary foundation. I’ve also been playing with that a bit and will do a full review on it very soon. Just want to give it a few more wears to make sure I’m confident in my opinion 🙂
Let me know if you have any of these products and if you like them.
Also, let me know if you’re going to be a QVC lady (like me!) one day – haha!
